update on my long distance relationship
this week on tuesday my boyfriend left again for switzerland. and somehow the goodbyes don't seem to get easier. when you see your person for this short amount of time like 5 days, these days are the best, most beautiful and most intense days I think you'll experience in your relationship. so saying goodbye after receiving the most amount of love possible is just so so so hard, even if we know that we will see each other again very soon. and it's also the fact that I'm already done saying goodbye. I just never want to have to say goodbye again. I think sometimes that is a bit frustrating. but I always remind myself that I can consider myself very lucky to have a person like my boyfriend in my life and to love and be loved so genuinely. there's a reason why goodbyes are not easy :)

christmas lights
the christmas lights in odense are finally on!! right now the sun sets at about 4 p.m. which is why those lights really are very important to me. it makes the city so much more charming and warm. the christmas lights contribute a lot to my happiness these days!

sun is out
this week we were quite lucky here with the weather. the sun was out a lot of times which just literally warms my heart and soul. it got a lot colder this week already but as long as the sun's out I don't mind hihihi

the weekend
on the weekend I did a lot for uni since I still need to catch up on a few things but I also need to start preparing for the exams. on saturday Julia asked me if I wanted to go eat lunch with her at café sølle. it is one of the cutest cafes here in odense so as a treat we went hihihi. it is a specialty in denmark to eat surdejsbrød which is sourdough bread with butter (smør) and cheese (ost). it sounds very boring but the bread and especially the butter always hits different. I also ordered compote with that. the butter tasted like there was some lemon zest in it, which made it very special! also a lot of times the butter is whipped which was the case here too! I loved it so much! also this place sells the best cardamom buns in town!! they're not too sweet and very rich in cardamom taste. it was a very nice break from studying!
