my first last

this week I took my last pilates class. this was the first thing in my routine I did something for the last time, which was very sad. I really loved going to reformer pilates, it's so much nicer than "normal" pilates in my opinion. I just know that I won't be able to go anymore in switzerland because it's not at all affordable for me. I am so grateful that I got to try it and made it my hobby for more than half a year. I will miss it very much!!!
start of study period / last lecture

this week I also started studying for my exams. however this can not be compared to the way I study at home for exams. I took it way more relaxed, because I had such good grades last semester. I was still a bit sick or just not feeling the best so that made it a bit harder to concentrate but other than that it is so nice that I could take it more relaxed! on thursday I had my last lecture which also felt crazy. it was like I will never sit in this university again. it's not that I will miss it but I think some nostalgia starts kicking in at these moments.
oscar night

on friday night some friends organized an erasmus oscar night where people were nominated and won an oscar in a certain category. the categories ranged from who's the best cook, to the most stylish over to the most dramatic or clumsy one to many more. there was a mistake in planning so I was not nominated. but for each category 5 people were nominated and everyone would vote before hand and the person with the most votes wins the oscar. it was a very nice evening because it was also kind of a recap of the whole experience and everyone was in a great mood. we sang and danced a lot and just enjoyed the time we had.
great weekend

this weekend was one of the most effortlessly nice ones. it was very warm and nice weather so a friend offered to go to her rooftop terrace to study. we packed our bikinis and went to her place and studied in the sun on both saturday and sunday. we did little tanning breaks to soak up the sun, went to get ice cream and went to cheer for a friend of Julia that was running the half marathon in odense. we all ate lunch together and helped each other studying. we really made the best out of a study weekend. was I very focused? not very much, but did I have a great time?, yess 100%. it was such a nice way of spending time together, because obviously there was not so much left, and still doing your work hihihih
techno at the harbor

on saturday evening I went to the harbor with a friend. one thing about odense is that the techno scene is not very big, meaning clubs don't necessarily play techno, so this open air event at the harbor was a nice opportunity to enjoy some techno. to be fair the beats were pretty good but there were not a lot of people dancing. and the ones that were, were on drugs for sure. so my friend and I just sat down by the water and enjoyed the music from a bit further. it was so so nice because the sun was setting and the music was also kinda melodic which fit exactly to the vibe. I had a great time just talking and enjoying the sunset.
bike ride to the lake

on sunday late afternoon two friends of mine and I felt like we studied enough and decided to go to a lake near odense to swim. because it would have taken us the same amount of time to go by bus as by bike we decided to go by bike. it was a 45 minute drive and it was beautiful. we drove through fields, cute neighborhoods and passed wind mills. the lake was very cute and reminded me a lot of switzerland! it was so incredible to swim in the lake and just enjoy the sun. it really really made me look forward to the lakes in switzerland! overall I'm very happy that we did this little excursion !
