ranking of this week's teas of my A.C. Perch advent calendar
1
organic green christmas tea
smelled a lot like cinnamon and orange, I really like that! this is perfect for christmas timeI would've wished for a bit more green tea flavor though.

2
pouchkine
I didn't know this tea before but it is basically an earl grey type of tea on a mild chinese black tea base. it really was lighter than a normal earl grey and it was also lighter in the bergamot taste. it is a bit more citrusy. personally I like the normal earl grey better.

3
emperor tea
this tea was described as a luxurious chinese black tea with a soft flavour. to me it tasted very very light and basic. it was good but I just like when teas are strong.
how I am doing mentally

this week was one of the best weeks I had so far. I was just overall happy and relaxed. I did a lot of work for school and then rewarded myself with activities in the evening. this week I only did things that I genuinely wanted to do and that just felt so good. there were so many happy moments that just made my week! I think the weather also contributed a lot to my week, because it was sunny almost every day and the city turned into a winter wonderland:)
marroniiiii

together with our flat mates we recenlty decided to buy an airfryer, which can be used for so many things! including roasting chestnuts! since Julia and I both miss eating heissi marroni (roasted chestnuts) we decided to try it out because we saw on a tiktok how to do it. I wish I could tell you it turned out good, but unfortunately they were not very easy to peel and therefore they were not very satisfying. but at least we tried and got somewhat close to our marronis hihih.

update on the chai latte situation

you know how I talked about that I could not find a chai latte that was actually tasty for me because they only use powder instead of actual tea? well, that changed in this week. because I found out that my favorite tea store A.C. Perch (who else??) sells chai latte also to go. so you know I had to try it! and it was so so yum. I mean I knew it was going to be good, but it was just exactly the way I like my chai, more tea flavor than sweetness. this was just worth telling because now I can also get a chai to go if I ever feel like it.

snow in odense

so as is in many other countries as well this week we had our first snow. I was told that it's very uncommon for denmark to have so much snow, so I consider myself lucky to experience this! I don't know what it is with snow but it just made me so freaking happy! it was almost like it was healing my inner child! the city turned into a winter wonderland and with the christmas lights on it was just perfect! together with Julia I also built my first little snowman. snow just makes everything better!!!
happy moment

on friday Julia and I went to another hockey game. we were going home by tram and really had to hurry to catch it otherwise we would have to wait for a bit. anyway, we got into the tram sat down and then I noticed something. next to us there was a guy with his girlfriend and his friend group and I looked at him and in disbelief pointed at his cap. he was so confused and I could not believe my eyes. he was wearing a ZSC Lions cap, which is my favorite ice hockey team in switzerland. obviously they were also at the hockey game and I was like "omg this is my favorite club, are you swiss?" he's danish but he told me that his girlfriend's grandmother is from switzerland and that they went to see a game of ZSC Lions. and then his girlfriend told us that her grandmother is from winterthur and both Julia and I were like "WE'RE from winterthur". there were just so many coincidences at once, that I couldn't believe it. I was so euphoric and proud to see someone walk around with a ZSC cap in denmark! reminded me of home!
custom made ring

my friend agatha who I met here at my university makes beautiful jewellery in her free time. a few weeks ago she asked if I'd be interested in a custom made piece. and as you know I love jewellery, especially rings. I felt so honored that she asked me so of course I said yes. fast forward to this week I got this beautiful ring. it is very heavy and chunky and soooo special. it is sooo nice to wear pieces that are custom made by someone you know. I am so so happy about how the ring turned out. (the jewellery bag is also made by her!)
new knitting project

it's been a while since I finished my scarf, so I decided to finally start with my new project. it will also be a scarf but smaller one. it's going to be a smaller project which is nice because then it doesn't take you that long until you can actually wear it! I will keep you updated on my progess!
